One of those days...
I have been working on a new smallish scratchboard (8"x10") and it just isn't coming together to my liking... so after struggling with it for several hours... still not quite ready to bin it... but feeling a bit frustrated.
Anyways decided to give it a break and come back to my graphite piece "A Kind Eye" I think I have the eye close to the softness I want, now just finishing up the rest of it.

98% Done
With my graphite roping horse that is- just need to touch up some values and edges. A few minor adjustments and I will able to put him away.

I haven't given up ;)
You may (or may not) remember the graphite horse I started at the beginning of the year. I have not given up on it and am still plugging away slowly in between scratching. The mane has me a bit worried on how to do it... so why not save it for last... LOL

And I finished off the front paw on the cougar, though will still mess around making minor changes. Now onto the background... fun, fun!

Roping Box continued
Some more hours on the roping horse yesterday. I am not sure how much time I will have to work on it today, as we have a new room mate moving in and have to clean out the room that is going to be hers.

New Drawing - "The Roping Box"
I started a new drawing... yes DRAWING yesterday. I forgot how messy graphite is... lol... and keep thinking how I would do it in scratchboard! It has been nearly 3 years sicne I have done a complete graphite drawing. Size is about 16"x20"
